Saturday we had a chance to introduce some of the members of the Welwyn Hatfield Young Archaeologists Club AND the St. Albans Young Archaeologists Club to geophysics. Both groups met with us at Verulamium Museum, where we talked about geophysics and surveying, looked at magnetometer results, and got a chance to try pushing the mag cart out in the field. What an enthusiastic and bright group of kids! It was a real pleasure to work with them. Thanks to the group leaders, Sarah Adamson and Brian Adams, for the great work they do with these future archaeologists. And thanks to the children, who made the day such a success.
